Tamees is a traditional Yemeni flatbread, soft and slightly chewy with a golden-brown crust. Baked in stone ovens, it’s infused with subtle smoky notes, while the nigella seeds sprinkled on top add a hint of earthiness and crunch. Best enjoyed fresh and warm with fava bean stew or honey and cream.
